A look at the lighter side of the campaign so far, through the cartoons. Hat tips to Aislin, MacKay, Cook, the Globe, and Maple Leaf Web.

  • I liked the Aislin comic you posted a few days ago: The Bloc slogan "Présent pour le Québec" was modified to read "Présent pour le moment."

But I'm biased. I'm in Montreal, so I see those signs every day.

  • Nice diversion.

shows had bad it is these days being a Liberal with Steffi running the show.

The day after the release of campaign budget and this is the best you can come up with.

Looks like surrender to me, or at best abject resignation to the reality of a dying LPC.

  • Must be tough being Fred, to go through life unable to enjoy comics.

  • I'm sure he'd enjoy them if he could understand them.

  • Thanks, I needed those cheap, good and easy laughs at the expense of the Harpocrites.

  • Duh - it took me a few seconds to get the Harper-relaxing-in-a-suit one, but it's priceless. The slapfest beneath Obama & McCain has to be the winner, though -- but these are all fantastic.
